Telehealth Appointment Types
We offer dedicated telehealth appointments for a wide range of women’s health concerns. Each visit is structured to give you focused, one-on-one time with your provider. Currently available telehealth appointment types include:
Discuss Birth Control Options
Not sure which contraceptive method is right for you? Our providers will walk you through your options, including hormonal and non-hormonal methods, IUDs, and more, so you can make an informed decision that fits your lifestyle and health goals.
Fertility
Whether you are just thinking about trying to have a baby or have been actively trying to conceive for a while, we’d be happy to discuss any issues or concerns and start a basic evaluation.
Perimenopause and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Consult
If you are experiencing hot flashes, irregular periods, sleep disturbances, or mood changes, you may be entering perimenopause. Our providers can discuss your symptoms, evaluate whether MHT or other treatments are appropriate, and help you navigate this transition with confidence.
Endometriosis
Living with endometriosis can be exhausting and isolating. Our team is experienced in managing endometriosis and can work with you to develop a care plan focused on pain relief, quality of life, and, when applicable, fertility preservation.
PCOS/ PMOS
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), now called Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS), and related conditions can affect your periods, hormones, weight, and fertility. Our providers offer thorough consultations to help you understand your diagnosis and explore treatment strategies tailored to your specific needs.
PMS and Mood Issues
Premenstrual syndrome and mood-related symptoms can significantly impact your daily life. We offer compassionate, evidence-based support to help identify patterns and discuss options for managing physical and emotional symptoms.
Problem Periods
Painful, heavy, irregular, or missing periods deserve attention. During your telehealth visit, we will review your history, discuss potential causes, and outline next steps, including any follow-up testing or in-office care that may be needed.
Weight Management Program Monthly Follow-Up
For patients enrolled in our Women’s Comprehensive Wellness Program, monthly telehealth check-ins allow you to stay on track with your goals, review your progress, and adjust your plan as needed with the support of your provider.
Is Telehealth Right for You?
Telehealth is a great fit if you:
- Have a busy schedule or limited transportation
- Live outside of the Downers Grove area but want access to specialized gynecologic care
- Are managing an ongoing condition and need a follow-up without an in-person visit
- Prefer the comfort and privacy of receiving care from home
- Are located in one of our licensed telehealth states
Some concerns, such as those requiring a physical exam, imaging, or an in-office procedure, will still require an in-person visit to our Downers Grove office. Our team will always let you know if an in-person appointment is necessary.
